Since the auction on the 27th of July we have been wading through the treacle like mass of paper work and phone calls to solicitors and the bank (along with a bit of post exchange/pre completion ditch clearing) but now we can really start to get things sorted!
The pigs are due to arrive in 4 weeks and we need to get a few things done -
build the pig huts, fence the fields, put in gates, sort water to the fields, arrange feed delivery, buy a trailer (and a car big enough to pull it!) and pass the trailer test (stupid post 1997 driving test pass - grrr!) sort a local vet, grass seed the field, get the Rayburn serviced and fired up, and damp proof and replaster the house ready for the big move.
All starting tomorrow when we hire a hammer drill and start to hack off most of the downstairs plaster, what larks Pip.......
