Open Farm Sunday... this Sunday

A year ago today we took part in Open Farm Sunday. At the time we had only been at the farm for 8 months (we hadn't even sold a sausage!) so we didn't know quite what to expect from the day (which turned out to be one of the wettest days of the year!) 

Since then we have started to supply 7 local pubs, several local B&Bs and attend three different farmer's markets. 

This year (Sunday the 17th from 9am to 5pm) we will be throwing open the farm-gate and showing people round the farm, hopefully last years visitors will see the changes and progress we have made. 

We will be having a few more activities, including:

Farm Tours

Piglet racing

Hog roast 

Children's activities

Tea & Cake

Treasure hunt

and a demonstration of forging by a local blacksmith!
